Many people were amazed and stupefied at the time that they sent the lowest ranking soldiers to jail and put all the blame on them, when the orders were obviously from the top.

- When McCain originally made that comment, it was severely bad timing to appear so insensitive to an economy that was tanking. It made him appear to be one of the fat cats- advertisement of his 7 or 9 houses didn't help.
